Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I have run out of other ideas! I had my name changed by deedpoll when I was 13 and my rather than getting rid of my previous surname completely I moved to be part of my middle name. I’ve just found out when I get married in October I can’t ask to drop part of my middle name I can only change my last name! I give notice this Friday if I change my name via deedpoll now will they accept my identity documents and new deedpoll letter or will it mess everything up? It may sound silly but I don’t want to change my name via deedpoll once I’m married i want to start again afresh on my wedding day. Any help really appreciated!
