I commute from St Albans into London on the Thameslink route and have noticed way more last minute cancellations due to ‘shortage of train crew’ announcements recently.
It seems especially bad this August — is this just a normal summer thing (staff holidays, etc.) or is something else going on?
Has anyone else noticed this pattern in previous years?
