not that long ago i reported ex for sexually assaulting me and now a case and investigation has opened up. i was too worried to tell them that he had raped me as well but now i am ready so i will tell them when im next taken in to the police station. i have very limited evidence of the sexual assault and they have taken a statement and have said they would like me to make a video statement as evidence. i know that reporting the rape will up my case but i’m worried about the process. i’m a teenager with autism and i have never been involved with the police so this is a lot for me. my parents said it’s likely that he’ll be let off for the sexual assault because it’s kind of my word against his but what would happen with the rape? would he be let off? i am not the first girl he has done this too but i am unable to get a statement from the other girl so im kinda just fighting myself. the police now have his name on file incase he were to do it again but i dont want him to just be let off. i know that the police would like to take his phone to search for evidence but he has gone round telling everyone im lying which is really dragging me down. i dont know if this post makes any sense but i guess what im trying to ask is what would happen if i report him for raping me as well as sexually assaulting me although i have no evidence?
