I 22M am currently studying in the UK, and my GF 22FM is studying in a nearby country.

We known each other back from high school but didn’t date back then. By chance we met again sometime during uni in the UK and then started our relationship for about half a year.

Things were great at the start until we were booking tickets going back to the dam home country during summer holiday.

I planned for 4 weeks but she only had 3 weeks of free time, and asked me to fly to her country of study, going back to home country together and then go back with her after 3 weeks time.

I decided to travel back separately and stay for 4 weeks for the following reasons:
(1)I only get to go back home once a year to visit my family and my dog.
(2)I spent my last Easter at her place, and would stay with her for the following Christmas and next Easter too.
(3)We would be in the same city for the 3 weeks so we can frequently visit each other.

Apparently she was really mad about my decision and asked for a non formal breakup.

Things that bothered me the most: admittedly she did tell me she would be busy in this 3 weeks of time. Given that she might be mad at me, I in total had met her 2 times in the entire 3 weeks: one dinner and one time she gave me a heads up at the previous evening to travel to a different city to watch a show, which I did.

I am quite angry as she is asking me to go back with her for a week (she would be busy with uni in the day), but could not find time for at least a total 24 hours in the 20days that we are in the same city during summer.

Still I have much feelings for her but this thing is bothering us both a lot, what are your views?

Sorry if anything remains unclear I would happily explain more of the situation if you inquire, many thanks.

TL;DR : long distance relationship arguing me not going to her city to book the ticket that travels with her and go back from my home country 1 week early to go back with her. & still very much wish to continue this relationship but this is bothering us both very much.
