I’m disgusted. I’m 22 with no dating experience because I was always scared of dating, but a few months ago I was like fuck it I’ll try online dating since nowadays I don’t have the chance to meet many men irl.
I went on a few casual dates with guys my age but I also thought I might try talking to some older men as I’d never really considered that before. I matched with this man, he’s 43 and I thought he was attractive + we have similar interests. We’ve been going on dates for two months now and talking whenever he has the chance since he’s always “busy”. Wasn’t a red flag to me since people have lives, clearly.
He recently asked me to be his gf and planned a really nice date I was looking forward to ..then cancelled it. Very strange as it’s a band we both wanted to see for a long time and honestly we haven’t had sex yet, I’ve never had sex at all tbh and I told him I was ready which he was looking forward to so ..yeah..
I asked him what’s up and he gave the most vague answers, actually just danced around giving me an answer at all which honestly just seemed super weird, weird energy he’s never exhibited before but I didn’t want to push him about it as it’s “just” a date. I told my friend about all this and opened up a bit more about our communication, and she straight up said “are you sure he’s not already in a relationship? Lol..” then she asked for his social media but he told me he didn’t have social media which is cool as I don’t use it that much either, but she asked for his name and looked it up on Instagram, scrolled through a bunch of profiles and lo and behold he not only has an instagram account that he blocked me on but he is married with 3 children….
I’m so mad and hurt that I missed this because I liked him, but I’m glad I never had sex with him at least. Do I confront him about it? Or just block and move on?
