Like a lot of people in their teens/ 20s want to look older/ more mature so that their counterpart will take them seriously dating

Generally speaking I feel that women look more mature earlier ( could be makeup, their fashion sense, etc) and so they look more “proper” as grow with age

Where as many men don’t do this until their 30s when they are established in their careers, have to go to formal events , etc

With all that said if say a guy in his 30s+ look younger than his age how does it affect dating?

For women in her 30s+ that look younger how does it affect you?

  1. I’m almost 39 and people say I look mid to late 20s.

The main drawback is trying to date women my age a lot of the time we look very far apart in age!

  2. Female in her 30s. I have a hard time finding men within my age range since younger guys tend to notice me more. Or older men prefer someone more “womanly” (curvy and whatnot). That’s about it.

  3. I’m 30 and get mistaken for way younger regularly. A friend of a friend thought I was her age and she’s 21. But on the other hand I have the hairline of a 50 year old lmao

  4. I used to have a baby face until I lost 144lbs. I was cute and now I am less cute lol

  5. For me, I still get asked for ID anytime I am out without makeup on. I am 33 and take that as a compliment, it means they think I could be under 25 😊

  6. I’m constantly told I look 18-21. I haven’t had any negative side effects. As a woman, there are plenty of old creeps preying on younger girls, so if anything I have to deal with that a bit more but otherwise no issue.

I feel a man’s perspective might face more challenges.

  7. I’m 41 and I look like I’m early 30s. Only thing that I’ve noted is there are some older men who make moves on me thinking I’m younger than I am, we’re talking late 40s-early 50s thinking I’m about 31-32. Other than that, no real effect.

  8. I’m 37 F, get ID’d every time still, and people think I’m 19-23. No drawbacks.

  9. I’m 32 and get always get the shocked pikachu face when I tell people my age. Now that I’ve gotten older I find it super creepy when older men (I’m talking 50s+) stare/approach me because I really wonder how old they think I am. Like I get that I’m old enough to date them but it doesn’t make me feel good inside at all. That’s probably the only drawback. And also people in the workplace not taking you seriously right off the bat because they think you’re super young and are in school still or something of that effect.

  10. It affects me more than other people. I’m 31, look mid/early 20s. I took care of myself, have a meticulously planned skin care routine, take specific supplements. I won’t date people my age that look old, which is most of them. They just look unhealthy.

  11. I’m 32f and get hit on by 24/25y guys.. it’s flattering but i would like to have serious relationship 😅

  12. Young men chasing after me is a thing more than ever now… I didn’t look this young even at my 20’s. It’s like I reverse aged. But other than that it’s pretty much all the same.

  13. 30s still look like 20s age creeps up slowly until 65
Don’t know why Americans think 25 is young Otjer countries that’s not young and you need be be out of the house and supporting a family
