Do you make your bed in the morning? Why or why not?

I don’t. It’s simply because I’m not in the habit of it.
I don’t, because my partner works from home and continues to sleep after I’ve left for work
I do in an attempt, that usually fails, to keep the dog out of it.
Never unless someone is coming over and might go in our room.
Most of the time.
There’s just something really relaxing about coming home to a nicely made bed, even if I was the one who had to make it.
We have individual comforters and no top sheet. I pull the comforters back to the foot of the bed so the fitted sheet airs out.
Absolutely! A great way to start the day
Yes, everyday. Its a habit since childhood that I have kept.
No cause i don’t see purpose in it
Yes, every day. It makes me feel more peaceful seeing it made, and coming home to a clean place after a long work day makes me even happier to return.
I don’t usually. Sometimes I toss the sheets back up but not in a “tucked and tidy” kind of way. I also read that making the bed can create an environment perfect for dust mites so I like to tell myself it’s safer to leave it unmade 🤣
Yes but I don’t use a top sheet on my bed, so it’s easy to just smooth and fold my blanket. I don’t like coming home to a messy bed tbh.
I don’t because my partner works nights and I work days so when i wake up, he is sleeping and when he wakes up, it’s only a few hours until I need to get into bed so i never see the point. I do take the sheets and blankets off and lay them back down flat as I love getting into a “flat bed” (I ask my partner all the time “make it flat please”) because I hate the feeling of wrinkled sheets touching my legs
Yes, every single day since childhood.
Yes. I think it’s more cozy to climb inside a neat clean bed every night. Plus I like the way it looks during the day.
Never really do, it’s pointless since I’m so exhausted constantly that I have to take myself to bed at some point of the day anyway
Yes I like to make it clean
Nope, but I do make it as part of my bedtime routine.
I pull the covers right back to air the sheets and I straighten it up later in the day. Duvets are wonderful, not labour intensive.
Rarely
My parents didn’t make me when I was growing up so I never got in the habit. But I recently decided that I want to make our bed every day
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Today was a no. I do always like it better when I’ve made it up though, the whole room looks messy with an unmade bed. Maybe tomorrow!

I make the bed once a week and that’s on the day I wash the bedding.
Yes.
Not really. I leave it for the cats to enjoy.
Yea because my future self deserves to have a nicely made bed and I love her enough to make that happen
No, my husband is still in it when I leave 😭
Yes. Starts my day off in the right intention. When I return home puts me in a good mood. Then the cycle continues ◡̈
I just have one blanket. The only time I do any resembling making the bed is right before I go to sleep for the night, I just fluff the blanket out nothing else to do beyond that but climb in.
Yes, because I don’t like cat hair on my pillow and sheets.
Yes. It keeps the spiders out. 4 year old me logic.
Our mom wasn’t big on paying attention to us, but she made sure we had manners and made the bed
yes, if i don’t make my bed it’s one of my clearest indicators that i’m not doing well or am depressed

Nope! All those wild dreams need the open space to dissipate.
I usually do. It makes me feel more organized and ready to face the day. Some days it doesn’t happen, though.
No, because as soon as I get home, it’s easier access to have my bed unmade so I can quickly get back into it
I don’t at first. But I work remotely so at around 10 or 1030 I go back upstairs and yes, I do make the bed.
Yes I always turn the duvet down so the bed can ‘breathe’ and because it feels 112% nicer getting into bed at night with covers that aren’t all crumpled up.
Yes. It’s so easy.
Yes, this way I won’t be back to sleep, unmade bed looks too cosy to resist
Absolutely! I have a super sheddy dog and I want to keep her hair out of my side if the bed. It’s a good system and it makes me happy to see my bed made all the time
Every day because I want to get into a nice clean made up bed at night. (I shower before I get in bed, and let it air out in the morning before I make it so it stays cleaner and drier)
Yes, every morning. I like how it looks – clean and tidy. It quiets brain noise. I can put things like stacks of laundry on the bed to be put away and don’t have to worry about them toppling over or getting mixed into the bedding. Also, if not made, it feels like I’m getting into a hamper of crumbled up dirty laundry at the end of the day and I cannot deal with that sensation.
I feel like my bed needs to air out so I leave it flown open. I somewhat make it before I climb back into it at night.
Yes, but not in a detailed way. I hardly muss up the bed when I sleep, so all I have to do is pull the covers back once I get up.
