Ok, let me explain.
Let's say you're straight, and your boundary is: Not to get to physically intimate with the opposite gender. Or you're gay and you put this boundary with the same sex.
Example: No cuddling with a male friend if you like women, or not playfully smacking a girl's butt if you like men. You basically put a boundary on a specific gender. The gender they are attracted to.
Does this change if your partner is bi/pan? Would you extend this boundary to cover all the genders your partner is attracted to?
And to Bi/Pan people, if you're dating someone who is strictly straight/gay, would you abide by these boundaries if you knew it wouldn't be a problem if you were straight/gay.
