A few weeks ago, I started talking to a girl (20F) I met her in a trip and infortunately she was from my same city. We clicked really well talked daily, shared music, had deep convos, flirted, and even joked about future plans. I don’t usually catch feelings fast, but I did this time.
After about two weeks, I told her I was looking for something real, not just casual conversations. I wasn’t too intense about it just honest. I told her I liked her vibe and wanted to see where it could go.
After that, everything changed. She went from texting back quickly to short dry replies… then completely ghosted me.
This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I feel like I always end up with people who aren’t serious. I’m not clingy or overbearing, but I am someone who values emotional connection. People say they want that, but when I show it, they pull away. It’s draining.
TL;DR:
I (20M) was talking to a girl (20F) and told her I was looking for something real. She ghosted me right after. This keeps happening — I try to connect emotionally, but I always end up with people who pull away. Why does this keep happening, and what should I do differently
