I met someone on a dating app while he was in town (he lives in a different state, 20 hours away). We immediately clicked, he was in town for a week and we saw each other 5 times during those. We were intimate before he left. He knew from the beginning that I wanted something serious and he mentioned he was looking for the same thing. He’s been gone now for a month, during this time he’s been gone we FaceTime everyday and have even started having phone sex. I am planning to visit him in a month since I have flight credits I wasn’t planning on using then he’d come back a month after that. Before doing all that work, putting in time and effort I wanted clarity. We aren’t in a relationship but we aren’t seeing anyone else. I asked him where we stand and if he saw this going anywhere. He told me yes and reassured me that he’s putting time and effort as well. I feel bad for questioning him but I’m worried about not knowing where we stand. By the time I go we would have been seeing each other for 3 months. Is it right to feel like this? Should I bring anything up? Or do it in person before leaving? It’s my first experience dating after divorce so I’m very new to this and it being long distance is making it much harder.
