Due to some events last week and this week, I was very headstrong about trying again and signed up to all the apps again, and also had someone I run into often in real life in mind to ask out.
Well, I forgot the following feeling of this whole dating game mess, but was quickly reminded when all the apps were a bust(Tinder especially is just a meat market now and fake/abandoned profiles) and the one person I wanted to ask out IRL, was away all this week, so I can't even do that.
It's all just reminded me of how long I've gone without a deep care at all about dating. And I've noticed that as I get older, I find greater and greater stretches of time in between strong "I should find someone" feelings and "oh right, people DO get married and procreate or whatever".
Anyone else find that their interest in trying waxes and wanes heavily as well?
