  1. Pro tip when you’re descaling your kettle with citric acid: make sure you rinse it out *really well* afterwards, or your tea might have a very peculiar aftertaste the next morning.

Also, for people with a slight interest in road cycling competitions: why would they put two of the most boring stages of the Tour de France right on the weekend, where more people might have the time to actually watch it?

  2. Yesterday I went to the Maruitshuis art gallery in Den Haag… very beautiful indeed, lots of nice ‘Dutch master ‘ paintings and not even very crowded (apart from the room with ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ which was full of East Asian tourists taking selfies 😉

Not a huge museum, but all the better for that… quality over quantity.

  3. It’s so gloomy this morning. My husband is in the south and he says it’s very warm. Maybe we should move to one of those cities with Bad in its name and where I don’t understand half of what people are saying.

    Oh, now it’s raining. Brilliant.

I heroically did the cleaning, which was very necessary yesterday after work. Afterwards I was super dead and finished Fleabag in a horizontal manner with my cat. I didn’t like the first season at all, but the second season was really nice. It had a more hopeful tone after all and of course, it had Andrew Scott 😍 He’s so amazing, everything he touches is gold. Funny enough, the most chipper, talkative, uplifting character is a Finnish guy named Claire (well, I looked it up and it is written Klare, but they pronounce it as Claire. Is Klare even a Finnish name?). So maybe he is an accurate representation of what Finns are like.

But yeah, if you can get through the first season, it’s not a bad series. And it is as long a series as I would watch, so that’s good.

Speaking of series, I heard they’re rebooting Scrubs. And people are talking about early 2000s nostalgia. I remember Judy Reyes was absent from the last season because she had a baby. That kid must have a driver’s licence now.
