Ladies who are single and live alone, what do you do for a living to support yourself?

  1. Recently out of a relationship – I work FT, I enjoy my peace and quiet. Gov. job here in Australia.

  2. I am a nanny in NY. I work 6 days a week and pray that I don’t get sick or injured

  3. I’m a teacher, currently looking for work unfortunately since being laid off, but the ONLY reason I’m able to support myself is because I live in a house my parents own and they let me pay reasonable rent.

  4. I am a cardiovascular technologist. 2 year degree, and I love my job 🙂 wait I just realized I’m not single lol but I do live alone and support myself

  5. Animal welfare/kennel tech at a service dog school. Been doing it for a decade. It isn’t high-paying, but I love what I do every day, and the benefits package at this place is great.

  6. I work full-time and budget carefully. It’s not always easy, but the freedom of having my own space is totally worth it.

  7. Geologist with a private sector engineering firm. And doordash on the side because everything costs too damn much.

  8. I work in mid level administration. I also had the singular luck to be living in a low priced rental pre-covid, so while my rent has certainly increased, it’s nowhere near the crazy levels people are paying now. I don’t have subscriptions or streaming services. I don’t have any major debts. I get a free gym membership through my job. Life is good. 🙂

  9. Managing editor for a university book series. I teach and take in extra editing on the side.

  10. Cyber security, also have a side Etsy shop (more of a passion but brings in some small extra money)
