so there are two king’s birthday parades today, huh? Let’s see if the new one will start off a similarly long tradition as the other one…
I’m reading something this morning about ‘fictionalised memory recall ‘.
Basically the writer is arguing that the more times you recount something that ‘happened’ to you in the past, the less accurate that retelling actually becomes… which doesn’t make a lot of sense to me,I would have thought that the memory becomes kind of fossilized, but apparently that isn’t usually the case.
What do you think? Do you have specific stories from long ago that you often tell to different people?
