So im a software engineer in Portugal.. i have a startup idea..i think that can go big.. i want to persue it.. im currently working at a company that might/might not fund it..
I cant bootstrap it..
I want resources and paychecks…
Are there any programs that fund start-ups…

I was (together with other two) trying to found a startup last year, based on Germany or Netherlands. It was an AI startup for marketing content generation.
We spoke with a lot of investors. Nobody wanted to invest before we had a product and revenue.
Maybe this was bc of the financial uncertainty of the world, but still. What we learned was that without a working product or service nobody would risk the money in this economy.
You’d better start working on it. You get the money after having some sort of MVP.
