  1. On a German music sub there’s a highly upvoted post about today (well, yesterday by now) being the 25th anniversary of a beloved singers death. Except that it’s not true at all. Not only is it the wrong year, but also the wrong date. In reality it’s a bot that copied another post from three years ago presumably to farm some karma.
Yet none of the comments seem to care?

  2. [For yesterday’s prompt “trek”, one of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies!](https://www.deviantart.com/tereyaglikedi/art/Inktober-2024-Day-6-Trek-1107039483) Since like half of the prompts are about walking, I can do all the LOTR fanart.

And today’s prompt is passport. I can think of at least ten things to draw. But do I want to draw any of them? No, I don’t, absolutely not, no. It’s a bit sad that “passport” only makes me think of dystopian stuff.

  3. VAT changed from 24 to 25,5% in Finland on 1.9. Since then we have at work receives like a million invoices with the wrong VAT. Then you gotta ask for a credit invoice and allocate them and your accounting will invoice you for the extra work and the people who spend time on all this will have to get their salary. I mean, it is what it is, but I do wonder how much this has cost for Finnish companies in just the hours spent on dealing with it.

Not that I care about the companies, it’s just interesting to wonder. I gotta say though, as a consumer, 25,5% is a lot of VAT…
