Hi All, in 2022 my wife and I spent 2 months touring Europe in our motorhome for our honeymoon, we ended up spending several weeks in Germany notably in Baden Württemberg but predominantly in Bavaria as we absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave.
We used Aldi and Lidl for our shopping, we often ate out of an evening but had breakfast & lunch in the motorhome when we didn’t have lunch while we were exploring and visiting places of interest.
We bought a product that was pink/orange in colour and had the texture of a paté or paste/spread one day that we used to put on crackers or similar that we both fell in love with, unfortunately neither of us can remember the name. It contained either fish or meat and was available in every Aldi or Lidl we went to, but to our dismay after we left Bavaria and journeyed south of Lake Constance to Switzerland we never saw the product again much to our dismay, so can only deduce it is a product sold only in Germany.
I think it may have had the word ‘salad’ in the title but cannot be 100% sure on that. I’d be very grateful if anyone could identify what it is so we can try and get hold of it from a specialist retailer in the UK.
