I have a Bulgarian driving license but I live in the UK I am planning on getting more categories I have B and A2 and I will get way cheaper insurance if I get UK license problem is in the UK categories are expensive and timely whilest back home its more relaxed not as much wait or money.
So I was wondering since the UK is no longer in the EU can I surrender my EU driving license and when I'm back home just request it back because I don't want to pay for a brand new UK driving license its like £1000 or more.
Or can I exchange my license for a UK one and then am I allowed to go to Bulgaria and get Category A for example?
