In the US, since so much money gets pumped into Hollywood, it's easy to find examples of American movies with great acting (or at least for me, being an American and seeing our movies a lot). I rarely get exposed to non-American movies and so it's hard for me to picture in my head what good acting looks like while someone is speaking, for example, Polish, since I've just never seen a Polish movie. The only time I'm ever really exposed to hearing people talk from other countries is in a more casual friendly tone. I'd love to see some examples of movies where people are expressing much more complex emotions in another accent and language.
