  1. Out on the klongs in Taling Chan this morning… this is a quieter area with some small floating markets and Wats, but very few tourists.

    A lot different from Central Bangkok, but really interesting to wander in.

  2. I’m somewhere with no running water for a couple of days, and while I would hate it if it was like this all the time, it’s kinda nice how slow your mornings are forced to be. I woke up, walked over to the sauna building, started a fire, and now I’m waiting for the sauna to heat up so I can get my morning wash. Really calm.

  3. There’s medicine shortage of my med and I’m having to cut them in halves to increase the time I can take them. I wish med shortages were made known to people needing them.

  4. One of the oddest things I’ve seen about political discussion of views you don’t agree with is this tendency to blame some evil foreigners for exporting said views. Doesn’t it just make more sense that there’s more people who place value on things you don’t place value in than you thought? You definitely see this a lot with Russia throughout every NATO country on the center left/center and with the US in many European countries on all sides of the political spectrum.

  5. I am done with my language test! It was quite easy. Just the reading part was a bit boring. Funny enough, one of the articles was about the Finnish education system.

    It actually had more parts than I thought! I had to write a small essay and there was even an oral exam. I am curious about the results. Maybe it was terrible and I am too ignorant to even notice. Also language tests have way too many rules. They’re so scared of cheaters lmao.

    The prisoner exchange between “The West” and Russia & Belarus is causing lots of controversy. Well, it is a very grave decision and I am sure one that wasn’t taken lightly. Difficult stuff.
