While replying to another thread I looked at the survey report for Spain for June and in the survey only 54,5% of Spaniards declared to be catholic with 36,7% declaring being non-practising Catholics.

2,9% other religions
11,7% agonostics
13% indifferent/non-believer
15,8% atheists

From what I know by living here, most practicing catholics are old people, most of them being retired by now.

I know most of European countries are always tagged with being Christian but it looks like in Spain it is slowly fading away, how is the situation in your country?
