I work with European and U.S. teams on engineering trans national cooperation projects. On a recent online meeting an American associate mentioned that one of our team members was awa as she was helping her husband after his brain tumor surgery. He then said that they were Praying for him.

Some how I cannot imagine a European colleague ever saying that. These days it is even less likely for a UK colleague to mention such a thing in a professional situation.

This question is not about belief, but rather about it's casual admission or expression in professional circumstances. Has any one heard a comment like that in a working context in the last 10 years?
