In Sweden we have these sites where you can find out the address and age of anyone who lives in Sweden. This is because this information is regarded as public, so anyone can get an extract from the population register under the Freedom of press act. This is ‘exploited’ by companies, who publish these data bases. You can also look up the salaries of people, but that's slightly harder.
