Definitely something that would be hard to process, but we’d get through it.
It would depend on the specifics. If the child were grown up now, it would not likely be an issue. If the child were still a child and my partner wanted to raise it, it could be a problem. I am vehemently “child free”. I would not be a good parent or step-parent and it may be in child’s best interest if my partner and I broke up. I did not have good examples of parenting in my own life and have trauma from both of my parents that I would never want to pass down to a kid. It wouldn’t be fair to the child.
I’d be really confused and baffled why she would have hid the fact that she had a kid from me
Also like where has this kid been this whole time? How could she possibly “not know” that she was pregnant and had a baby?
Depending on the answers would impact my feelings a lot
Wedlock wouldn’t matter. If he had a child, we would never have been a couple. I’m childfree. I would never have dated him if he had been a parent.
