The last two dates I've been on the guys I've been with have told me I was humble flexing after being specifically asked about my job(s) and my educational background. The past two times, I've been told I was humble/subtle flexing. I spent about 5 minutes talking about each topic with questions going back and forth and not speaking over the other person. Asked about their educational background and was genuinely engaged.
I've been out of the dating scene a little bit, and sometimes I have a hard time getting past the initial meeting phase just due to my own awkwardness from time to time.
