This year I caught feelings for two different guys, and both situations ended the same way: nothing really happened.
The first guy worked at the same place as me. We never actually talked, it was mostly eye contact and tension, but nobody made a move, so eventually I let it go.
Then later I talked to a guy from Reddit who was looking for a relationship. We texted a lot, had calls, and honestly I started liking him. We never met in real life, but suddenly he changed. Dry texts, less calls, then basically disappeared. I never asked why because I don’t want to chase someone who clearly pulled away.
Now I’m sitting here wondering if I’m doing something wrong. This is the second situationship-ish thing that failed for me in one year, and it’s making me question myself a little.
How do people actually build real connections now?
