i (20F) have had a crush on a guy (22M) for a few months. we’ve been talking more recently, and are both really into local music. My friends think he might like me back because he compliments my photography a lot, references jokes i made weeks ago, etc etc but i’m unsure. I have autism and it’s really hard for me to tell when people are flirting with me, so i’ve been kind of confused. Also i’m on the larger side and didn’t date for a long time because of it which means i don’t have a lot of experience with flirting.
I invited him to a show that’s happening in a few weeks and said i’d really like it if he was there (it’s a band we both like) and he said he’d try his best to go and he wants to so maybe that’s a good sign? but everything feels very It could be romantic but also is probably platonic. he’s just a friendly guy ??
I’m scared to ask him out because of how often i see him and his band, im worried if i do it would jeopardize the friendships with the band. idk!!!!
