I’m in this tennis group and one of the girls randomly DM’d me inviting me to her birthday get together at a bar. What’s making me overthink is that she messaged me directly, so now I’m wondering if she invited everyone else in the group too or if she only invited me 😭

The thing is, we’re not even close like that. Outside of tennis, we’ve literally never hung out before and I honestly don’t know much about her. We mainly just see each other during our group tennis sessions, so I wouldn’t even really consider us friends like that.

Part of me wants to ask the other people in the group if they got invited too, but I also feel like that could be BM because what if she only invited me 😭 then the others might feel some type of way if they weren’t invited

Am I reading too much into this or does this actually mean something?
