I have a question about social interaction in with men.
I am not talking about dating or anything sex adjacent.
The question I am trying to ask is .
I have noticed as a woman who is older and less attractive objectively that people interact with me differently.
Ie just in normal social type situations or interactions of any kind..
I will smile and be nice and cordial and say hello thank you etc and some men will screw their face up and grimace at me or even when they see me walking in the street they will screw their face up or laugh at me.
With women I feel like I can just be nice and myself and not have poor feedback..
However with men I feel everything comes down to appearance even for basic social interaction.
I am wondering should I just stop bother trying to be friendly and nice to men ?
Ie not give them the same courtesy etc that I usually extend to everyone ?
Because they only seem to react to appearance rather than personality anyway.
Please answer thoughtfully, honestly and considerately.
