So I'm a Engineering Student, living in Germany. I'm about to attend the Masters Degree of my dreams and I'm living in one of the best cities in Germany.
My friend group consist entirely of people that study engineering with me (just dudes), as I barely have time to meet my friends back home. I have a great time with them, we study, do sports, travel and sometimes go out partying.
I earn a lot of money because I'm employed in a large company and I invest a huge part of my salary.
I'm more of a introverted person, especially in my high school years, thats why I never made serious relationship experiences.
Dating Apps have been very disappointing for me, even though I'm average looking and fit (But honestly I haven't used them for more than a few weeks and never payed for Premium). I think they are just a waste of time, bc girls just enjoy way to much attention from all the horny guys there.
I dont really enjoy clubbing or bars and meeting girls, through my friends is not possible bc their friend groups outside of Uni live hundreds of kilometers away.
I'm just frustrated from my situation, I feel like I'm missing out on this huge part of life that is having a partner you love. Most of my friends struggle with the same problem, because we all moved to here from far away and stayed in our Uni-Engineering bubble for the last years.
I know that it would be logical to meet new people outside of Uni, but honestly I just dont know what to get into because most people in my generation dont seem to have real hobbies anymore outside of drinking, gym, gaming and scrolling Social Media (if that even is a real hobby)
I was hoping some of you have some advice for me or some similar experiences that they'd like to share. Maybe some Ideas on how to meet new people outside of Uni.
