I have my own own flat, for example from the council? That need to be a one bed or a two bed? If one bed then why can't I sleep in the living room?For example, and the child sleep in the actual bedroom?

I am single. I look after my friends 3yr old and its the best thing I've had the honour to do. He's quite advanced for his age so we can have quite funny conversations.Sometimes. He snuggles into me if we watch TV and even though hes not mine, the feeling I get from that is something I can't describe.
I know not all kids are the same. But I can just see myself being really good at it, and absolutely loving it. And i know I haven't had any experience of screaming. Children going to bed waking up in the middle of the night, etc. Etc. But I'm willing to, because I need some purpose in my life. And I just thought, why not adopt a child who would need someone to love him or her who could be me.
What would your advice be that I get in order. Any advice well welcome to be honest thanks!
