Since November last year I have lost about 55 lbs most of that was November to March. Recently I have noticed that I've been losing a lot of hair. My hair isn't noticeably thinner but I'm finding head hair everywhere. It comes out in small chunks when I shower. I heard sudden weight loss might cause hair loss but I've also been on Semaglutide (compounded Ozempic) which is how I lost the weight. I'm about to switch from full doses to micro-doses, if that matters.
My question is, is this expected and is it reversible? I'm just about to my goal weight so I won't be losing large amounts anymore and I will be decreasing my dose.
