Me (19F) and my boyfriend M(18) have been dating for half a year now. I am someone who values punctuality A LOT! It feels like my boyfriend does everything last minute. Something that upset me was that on Valentine’s Day he waited till the night before to make reservations, even tho we’d been talking about it for a while I decided to leave it up to him because usually I plan our dates and stuff. I was kinda disappointed because by the time he came along to it pretty much everything was full. So I just said we can try to find smth together, the only place was a sports bar which I was a little disappointed about but I felt ungrateful, he also had no clue on what to do before that, he try to take me to the movies but nothing was playing at the time, also the night before Valentine’s Day he said he didn’t have enough money to get me flowers, but then the day of he orders them but they end up coming at 11 o clock at night but he spends whole evening on his phone checking for them super anxious they won’t come in time 🙁 when he gets me gifts he always not finished with them the day he needs to give it (ie a birthday) and arrives late after getting them. Another thing is not saving money when he knows smth is coming up, like when it was his birthday I took on a extra side job or saved so I can get him smth, but I feel like he doesn’t do that for me. Idk it’s not that big of a deal but I don’t know how to talk to him abt it without seeming ungrateful.
TLDR: Bf does things last minute, makes me feel uncared for, but also ungrateful.
