Basically the title, my ex (26F) and I (27M) have recently split. She revealed to me that she hasn’t felt loved over the last year and for the last 3 months has been talking to another man and has now taken both of our kids and is staying with this guy at his parents house.
I have been the sole income for the last 4 years and since our oldest has been born have been working more and more to provide a life for us. Bought our first home, her a car, etc…
We’ve had our issues in the past such as me watching porn or drinking a bit more than the average person. But I thought we were on the mend. I’ve not watched porn in 2 years, I’ve occasionally had 2-3 beers but not ever gotten past the point I couldn’t function. Started doing more for us to build a relationship back, that kind of thing. And then she dropped this bombshell on me about a month ago.
My question overall is am I wasting my time begging and pleading with her to come back? Are we just destined to raise two kids together in separate households? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
