This might sound abit stupid, but I’ve just a coffee date with someone I matched on the app.
We ended up chatting for slightly over 2 hours. The convo was fine, but I didn’t feel the romantic attraction at the end of it.
For one, I feel that 30 minutes (to me) is short to get a good understanding of the person in terms of her vibes.
Yet, I feel it is also unnecessary for me to extend to 2 hours when I don’t feel that romantic attraction through the course of the conversation.
And at the end of the 2 hours, I just looked at my watch to check the time and say “shall we go”, and then we abruptly part ways after I thank her for meeting me.
So how you suggest I best handle this for future dates?
I don’t necessarily feel that I need 2 hours for a coffee date (sometimes I feel abit tired at the end of it but that might be just because of the length of the convo and not necessarily the person), but yet I “don’t know” how to keep it short particularly when I am not certain of her as a potential although leaning towards a no.
