I'm probably in the same boat as many young men. I'm about to graduate college, and most of the people I talk to are acquaintances or people I know through classes or student organizations. I can't really name one person that I talk to on a daily or even weekly basis where we talk about life or even hangout. For example, on a weekly basis, I probably interact with like 15-20 people from classes, the gym, or student organizations but I don't ever hang out with them. Also, it seems like most of them already have their own social circle and group of friends. Maybe once like every few weeks I'll end up having lunch with someone, but that's about it. On most weekends, I find myself hanging out alone with nothing to do.
I don't care about having a lot of friends, but I thought I'd eventually find like handful that I talk to on a daily/weekly basis well until adulthood.
