I met this girl in school and we had amazing chemistry. We went from possibly rooming together after ending up at the same workplace (I decided to find my own apt), to close friends, to spending many one-on-ones together for hours, to helping each other out (moving, picking furniture, daily tasks, etc), to her cooking us dinner, to her packing my lunches, to sharing drinks, to sleeping at each other’s places platonically, to us becoming increasingly flirty, to me confessing. All over a span of four years. And now as of two weeks ago we’re not friends.
Although we had a genuinely good friendship, I wanted to escape the ambiguity. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like she took the confession too well. So far, I sent her a single text that there’s no pressure, that I’d give her space and that I valued the friendship (no reply). It doesn’t help that she’s non confrontational, but I care for her a lot and would love to have the friendship back. Not counting anything becoming romantic and would appreciate any advice for me going forward.
Thank you
