Idk how else to word this question, so sorry if I sound ignorant. If you grew up with a strong regional accent (like Minnesota or Wisconsin), do other Americans sound “accented” to you, or do you think your own accent is the one that’s less “normal”? When you watch TV, does everyone sound like they pronounce things differently or are you deaf to the difference?
