I (21F) have never been in a relationship, and honestly I feel kind of scared to start one.
A lot of my guy friends have done things that made me question relationships in general. Some of them have cheated, and others openly talk about girls online in a very sexualized way, calling random girls “hot” or sharing and commenting on thirst trap content even when they have girlfriends. I’ve also seen some of them flirt with other girls while gaming when their girlfriends aren’t around. And I even found out that one of the guys who approached me already had a girlfriend.
Seeing this has made me anxious about dating in the future. It makes me wonder what if the same thing happens to me and I just never find out? I know not all guys are the same, but it’s hard not to feel worried when this is what I’ve mostly seen so far.
Is this kind of behavior actually normal in relationships, or am I just surrounded by the wrong type of people?
