was getting off work late and stopped at a gas station around 12 AM. I was next in line and 3 younger dudes that looked early 20s, walked in. One of them looked at me and said he was gonna get in front of me because he was in a hurry. I told him you're not cutting me, I'm next, we both start walking up to the counter.
He than says "I bet you ain't got that blick on you" ( blick is slang for gun) and started talking crazy knowing his boys were with him and he had backup. I told him "you know what it ain't that serious just go ahead."
I feel like a coward about it. But with it being late and him talking about guns while having backup, with it being just me I decided it wasn't worth the trouble
Should I have stood my ground and kept my spot even if it risked a fight?
What would you of done in this situation
Really appreciate the support in the comments looking back im glad I didn't escalate further some of the comments wanted to know the country/area. it happened on the Southside of Chicago where I live
