Hosting a dinner with friends… but my ex AND my girlfriend will both be there

So I’m planning this private dinner in a month and I kinda need advice.
It’s gonna be like 15–18 people, mostly friends, some people I haven’t talked to in a while but thought it’d be cool to invite anyway. Me and my friend are hosting it.
We booked a private room on like the 25th floor of a pretty fancy restaurant. Plan is: good food, drinks, maybe a bit of a “show” vibe, just a nice social night.
Here’s the issue though:
I’ve hosted stuff before and usually I’m chill, but this one feels different.
There are people I don’t really talk to anymore… AND my girlfriend will be there… AND my ex is also invited.
So yeah. Potentially awkward as hell.
And since I’m the host, I kinda feel responsible for the vibe of the whole night, which makes it worse, cuz i gotta speak and stuff.
So:
How do I keep things from getting weird and uncomfortable?
Any general hosting tips when there might be some tension in the group?
Would appreciate any advice.
