I've been married for 4 months, my husband is great. We're both in our mid twenty's. His mom always made comments like "I'll see you without her" "How's your new adventure" and in general I stop trying to get involved. Now during mother's day I went to her house with my husband and brought her a gift, she didn't leave the bedroom to receive it or to say Hi and ofc didn't get dinner with us.
Now, He does great with my family they love him, he loves them. Also my husband keeps telling me she is very "particular, judgy, cold" with a lot of people 🤔 Last thing he told me is that she needs to "interview me" about a lot of things to be able to be okay next to me. (which to me it's weird knowing we're not kids and we are already married, not like he's gonna leave me)
Anyways, I would like him to have a great relationship with her and his family in general. It's just a strong feeling that they dislike me.. Should I continue to trying? Thanks! ❤️
