So I have some friends from when I was in school and through hobbies, and we still keep in contact, but it’s been increasingly hard to make NEW friends because they’ll be really nice in person and I’ll text them to arrange meeting up and I get ghosted. Then when I see them again in uni, we’re talking like we’re besties. Now I do realize uni friendships exist but knowing this, what do I do moving forward when I graduate soon? I usually try to make friends in my age range so if they’re all like this idk what to do. If the people I talk to don’t answer their texts is it me?? I try to be as “socially normal” (as possible with ADHD) and try to not let that get in between me and how I interact with others. So I’m like wondering does anyone else experience this? My friend and I were talking about this strange phenomenon and we’ve come to do conclusion that having your phone on hand at all times has made people blind to messages and notifications , are we right in thinking this?
