23(M) I’m kind of introverted but I also know how to joke around and talk to people. I’ve noticed that whenever I just joined a circle or a group of people, it feels like they’re teasing, laughing at me, tracking me or putting me on the spot. And I guess I got no problem with that, but I think it’s the way they communicate afterwards that these people have this condescending vibe. Like Im either asking a question and they tease me for asking or make convos and they don’t take it seriously at first.
Especially as a guy it’s weird when a woman does it. I’m average height in my country and Im not considered fat or even chubby (mentioning this because I know people target you when you have a physical trait that stands out). I have no problem with talking with people and maybe my humor is a little different. I do keep to myself but I also try to balance out talking to people in a group or social setting. I also wouldn’t consider it bullying all the time since I can stand up for myself but when the only way they approach me is by teasing me first or don’t take any convos seriously, it kinda feels like that.

Any idea why people have this approach? Or if you are these people why? Anything I can do to stop this or is this something I have to accept? And is this just overthinking?
