I (19M), used to like a girl(18F) in my 12th class and i never told this to her those days!! Recently like 2 months ago I texted her saying everything and we're on good terms as of now….like we both don't want to be in any relationship at this point and we are getting to know each other. Last night she said she was in a relationship with his school classmate for 3 years and broke up last May. I used to think she didn't have any boyfriend….I was like she is my first gf and I'm her first bf delulu. The reason she said was "he was not of my vibe", "he used to flirt with other girls". And one more thing is she told me that she used to like a guy from my college (she was in a relationship at that point). Ahe never went to him tho…idk no why but I'm just disappointed by the fact she was in a relationship. Ik i shouldn't feel that way but my expectations were that high…..Am i expecting more in this generation? What you all say?
TL;DR : I thought she’d be my “first,” found out she had a long past relationship, and now I feel lowkey disappointed because reality didn’t match what I imagined even though I know it shouldn’t matter this much.
