I’ve had a number of relatives/acquaintances tell me they are thinking of cancelling plans to travel by car because of fuel shortages. I’ve not heard anything about it. Is this typical fear mongering from the mainstream news or is there some truth to it?

To add, they have all been an older generation. I’m wondering if they’ve been eating too much ITV News.
