How do you ask your friends to take pictures of you while being kinda insecure?

I am kinda insecure and I am scared that if i ask them and they will take it, I wont like it and it'll be very embarassing. I am also scared of asking my friend's because that seems embarassing too. Anyone help?Its not very easy for me.
