We’re both in college (I’m 21 and she’s 19). She’s been in two relationships, but this is my first. I’ve only ever been in the talking phase with people before, so this is my first actual relationship. I officially asked her to be my girlfriend, and she said yes. We’ve been talking for around 2 months now, but started officially dating 3ish weeks ago.
We’re both Christian, so I'm wondering if she is just trying to take things slow? We’ve been on about 10+ dates at this point—movies, dinner, etc. Tonight I asked her if I could kiss her; I wasn't being pushy and I didn't say it in an awkward way. She just said “sorry, no” and kind of laughed it off. I said I didn’t want her to think I’m not attracted to her.
We’ve hugged several times and have watched movies together in bed, so maybe she really is just trying to take things slowly? She mentioned her ex cheated on her, so am I doing anything wrong here?
