Peanut Butter on Pancakes?

My roommate looked at me weird when I put peanut butter on my pancakes and said he'd never heard of that before. Hes lived in New York and Missouri.

Then my boyfriend said he'd never heard of anyone putting peanut butter on pancakes. Hes lives in Kansas/Missouri/Idaho/Minnesota/Wyoming/Arkansas.

I've lived in Missouri/Oklahoma/California.

Have you heard of this before? And where are you from?
