I’m from Lebanon and have the chance to relocate for work, but I’m stuck choosing between Paris and Nicosia.
On paper, they offer very different lifestyles, and I find myself going back and forth almost every day. I guess I’m also not entirely sure what would suit me best long-term.
I’m in my late 20s, work in tech, and value a calm, independent lifestyle (quiet evenings, running, biking), but I also don’t want to feel bored or limited.
Paris: exciting, lots to do, bigger tech scene, more possibility to discover nearby places, but maybe overwhelming and expensive
Nicosia: calmer and easier day-to-day, i can definitely save much much more than Paris, but possibly too small and might get boring long-term
